This Refund Policy applies to paid subscriptions to textsummarizer.net ("the Service"), including the Starter and Pro plans on monthly or yearly billing. Free-tier use is not paid and so is not covered by this policy.
Billing for the Service is handled by our payment processor and merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy. Refunds are issued back to the original payment method through Lemon Squeezy.
You can request a refund in any of the following situations.
We will issue a full refund of your first paid charge when all of the following are true:
If a monthly or yearly renewal was charged and you didn't intend to continue, we will issue a full refund of that renewal charge when all of the following are true:
Once you've used any of the paid features after the renewal date, the renewal is no longer refundable under this clause — but you can still cancel to stop the next renewal.
We may, at our discretion, also issue partial or pro-rated refunds in cases of demonstrable, prolonged Service unavailability that materially prevented you from using the features you paid for.

To avoid an unwanted renewal in the first place, you can cancel at any time before the renewal date (see section 6).

We may reply with clarifying questions. You don't need to ship anything back or fill out a form — an email is enough.
Once approved, refunds are typically issued by Lemon Squeezy within 5–10 business days. The exact time it takes for the funds to appear on your statement depends on your bank or card issuer.
You can cancel at any time:
Cancelling stops future billing. You will retain paid features until the end of the period you've already paid for, after which your account automatically reverts to the free tier (limits described in our Terms of Service).
Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. The vast majority of issues can be resolved by email within 24–48 hours. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us first may result in suspension of the account associated with the disputed charge.
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes apply only to charges incurred after the effective date shown at the top of this page. We won't retroactively change the refund terms of a subscription you already paid for.
